A highly regarded U.K. and U.S.-law banking team, including some of Europe’s most experienced practitioners, complements our leading merger and acquisition practice. This team regularly represents borrowers and lenders in sophisticated acquisition financings as well as other structured credit facilities. Our London lawyers have long been involved in debt and equity offerings by U.S. and European issuers in the world’s main capital markets, including initial public offerings and public and private offerings of senior debt, convertible instruments, commercial paper and other securities. We have particularly distinguished ourselves as leading participants in the European high yield bond market, representing both issuers and underwriters. Our London-based litigators advise our clients with respect to U.S. and European Union competition matters, handle European aspects of U.S. legal proceedings, and represent our clients in international arbitrations.
