Throughout three decades, it has gained strength as a utility company providing a wide range of services to the cereal and oleaginous seeds commercial system. As a means to meet their needs more closely, Roagro opened several branches in key areas of the country and permanently gives its staff updated specialized training. The company is closely linked to Argentine agricultural institutions; its founders are producers themselves and have occupied significant positions in some of the most important agricultural associations.Cristián Amuchástegui was President of the Rosario Board of Trade from 1994 to 1997 and of the Arbitrator Cereal Chamber (Rosario) between 2003 and 2004. On the other hand, Manuel Cabanellas has acted as President of the National Rural Confederations from 1999 to 2003 and as President of the Provincial Rural Confederations from the year 2005 to the present.
