BESI Brazil is the investment-banking arm of Banco Espírito Santo in that South American country. As a full-size investment Bank, it has a wide scope of business ranging from treasury and capital markets activities to M&A and project finance. BESI Brazil participates regularly in important issuances as well as in relevant mergers as lead manager, coordinator or financial advisor. Lastly, there are frequent connections between BESI Brazil and other BES structures, such as the New York branch, ES Bank in Florida, BES Angola, etc. The bedrock of these interactions lies in the final objective of seizing the business potential of Brazilian companies, especially the ones with trade business with Portugal or with markets where BES is present, as well as Portuguese companies present in Brazil.
