The founders, Frederick Withum, Leonard Smith and Ivan Brown, started their careers at "Big Eight" accounting firms and saw an opportunity to bring a more personalized kind of style to growing companies. Their firm would be 100% client-focused and employee-friendly, providing a wide range of expertise in accounting, auditing, taxation and consulting services.

A firm that began with six employees now has offices in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Florida and Colorado, employing nearly 400 dedicated individuals -- hundreds of whom are CPAs. We stay strong and grow to better help our clients stay strong and grow.

Our strength goes well beyond the region. WS+B is a member of HLB International. Formed in 1969, HLB International is a world-wide network of independent professional accounting firms and business advisors.
