Established in 2005, we focus solely on investments in real estate and allied businesses across different asset classes and cities in India.

   Kotak Realty Fund is a leader and one of the earliest entrants in the private equity real estate industry in India. Since establishment in 2005, we have raised US$ 1.47 billion in aggregate capital commitments and invested in 40 projects and companies across commercial office, residential, retail, industrial and hospitality sectors. Investing across asset classes gives us the edge in being able to take advantage of positive cycles in any real estate vertical.
   Kotak Realty Fund has generated exits of over US$ 604 million1 (83% of total investment value) with a gross IRR of approximately 19.1%2 and an investment multiple of 1.54x on exits across funds. We have returned the principal amount in 3 out of 4 domestic funds - KIREF-I (US$ 70 million vintage 2006), KIREF IV & V (US$ 74 million vintage 2011).
   With a disciplined investment strategy, we deploy capital prudently and patiently in search of the most compelling opportunities in the US$ 100 billion Indian Real Estate market. The funds under management are opportunistic funds and have a flexible investment approach.
