Overview:

Since January 1965, the professionals at HBM have been providing assurance, tax, client accounting and consulting services for our clients. We have a strong reputation locally and our affiliation with a global network (Baker Tilly International) brings us vast global resources. We have extensive experience with audits of public and private companies throughout the world, international and federal corporate tax planning and tax accounting, financial structuring and business succession planning.

Our excellence in all these services means increased efficiency and profitability for businesses in all types of industries.

History:

Almost 50 years ago, J. Keith Hansen, Keith F. Barnett and Paul J. Maxwell merged their practices to form the firm Hansen, Barnett & Maxwell P.C. The founding partners have all retired from ownership and the firm is now successfully in its second generation and currently making the transition to a third generation of ownership. We believe this shows a sense of stability and reliability to our present and prospective clients and employees.

Substantially all growth has been of an internal nature and is expected to continue as such in the future. We desire to retain our identity as a regional CPA firm in Salt Lake City, Utah with the ability to service clients throughout the world. We will maintain a foundation of developing a personal relationship with our clients.
