Uni-Asia Finance Corporation is an alternative investment company. Leveraging on our specialist skills in structured finance, we offer not only finance arrangement services for ships but act as an investment manager as well as an investor.

Our current business focus is in two types of underlying assets – cargo ships and property.
Maritime Investment

With our strong background in the transportation financing industry and wide network in the shipping industry, we have since branched out into the ship investment management business. We invest in commercial ships that garner attractive investment returns either through our direct investment, or together with our joint venture partners, or by participating in shipping funds we arrange.

In addition to ship investment management, we also provide integrated services to clients by offering financing solutions together with charter arrangement services tailormade to these needs. These services include acting as the arranger and agent for the structured financing provided by third party financial institutions, and offering tax-enhanced structured services and products, including mortgage financing, tax-oriented leases, as well as export credit agency ("ECA") backed credit, ship charter arrangement, and balance sheet management.
Property Investment

Our property investment business currently covers two countries - Japan and the PRC. In Japan, we leverage on the property investment management experience of our Subsidiary, Capital Advisers, to participate in property investment opportunities there. Capital Advisers invests in and manages niche segments of the Japanese property market, namely boutique business hotels and stylish studio residential apartments.
To explore property investments in the PRC, we established Uni-Asia Guangzhou, a wholly-owned property investment company in January 2007. To date, Uni-Asia Guangzhou has acquired 14 office units in Guangzhou, of which most are currently being leased out.
