Overview:
Nova banka AD Banja Luka is present on the market of Bosnia and Herzregovina since year 1999. as one of first private banks in the country. Since that time, the Bank has became one of liding banks i republic of Serpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bank finished the year 2009. with acomplishment of its goals, as one of most profitabler banks in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Bank has to offer wide range portfolio of traditional bank services ( such as different cinds of loans, documentary business, deposits and savings, payment transactions and money transfers, currency exchange and other ), but also preforms a number of primary nonbanking activities such as broker tradingd, kastodian business, factoring and forfeting.
Organization structure of the bank is ofrmed in the way: Banks Central in Banja Luka, witch is located in modern and contemporary building, witch is owned by the bank, in mid town where are the core banking funcktions suited ( Back Office function/functions are dislocated because of lower costs of doing business are located in Bjeljina), and other 45 organisation units, respectively, 10 branches, the branch that operates with securities „Broker Nova“, 9 expositures, 22 separate cunters and 3 agencies.
Most of the offices is suited in Republic of Serpska, as some what smaller number of offices is suited in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. All organisation units are the canals of distibution for Banks products towards clients, witch are primary retail and SME clients, then secondary big corporate clients.
An established market player Bank is recognized as interesting and desirabled employer, so as such at the end of business year 2010. the bank had 414 employees. Banks corporative culture is resulted in high degree of loyality and high motivated employees, that work at 46 organisation sections.
Since noveber of 2002. Bank is listed on Banjaluka Stock Exchange, and since june 2009. is one of six shares, the one out of financial sector, that is used to cauculate BH index relesed on Vienna Stock Exchange. Banks actions are traded on daily level on Banjaluka Stock Exchange and they highly liquid action . Nominal value of one Banks action is 1,00 KM .
Equity of the Bank is 63.145.754,00 KM and its formed thru XV issue of securities.
Bank has highly diversification of ownership. In averege actions of the Bank are owned by 400 private and corporate customers. Owned by domestic natural persons and legal entities are 55% of the shares, which gives the Bank the character of the predominantly domestic bank. However, the single largest shareholders ofthe Adriatic Fund BV from the Netherlands with 37% and the International Finance Corporation in Washington and by 8%.
In the last few years the Bank has recorded a marked growth in all areas and segments, witch resulted in high level of profitability in compare to other banks that do business on the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Bank has launched a number of activities in the differentiation and enhance corporate identity, socially responsiblemanagement and implementation of standards of corporate governance, which is a community in which the Bank operates has recognized and admitted through a very substantial reward (RS Chamber of Commerce award for best bank in the Republic of Serpska in 2009. year, the Banja Luka Stock Exchange Award "Golden share" for the achieved standards of corporate governance for the 2009th and 2010th year, the Mosaic and the Imagination Fondation Award "Well 10", for companies with the best standards of corporate governance in 2010.).
