CBRE Hong Kong has grown considerably through natural expansion and strategic acquisition since the business—then known as CH Williams—first entered the market in 1978. Today, Hong Kong is CBRE’s strategic regional hub and Asia Pacific headquarters. Most recently in 2011, CBRE completed the acquisition of ING Group’s real estate investment management business (ING REIM), including the ING REIM operations in Asia, with the Asian headquarters of the newly combined business based here in Hong Kong.
