Generali Slovensko is one of the three strongest universal insurance companies in Slovakia. It was created on 1th October 2008 by a merge of Česká poisťovňa – Slovensko, a. s., and Generali Poisťovna, a. s.
Generali Slovensko is a client oriented insurance compnay with prompt and high quality service. The company's strategic objectives include focusing on improving the quality of services related to the establishment and administration of insurance and settlement of insurance events.
It offers the widest range of insurance products: life, accident, health and risk insurance, travel insurance, savings products, house, flat and contents insurance, motor insurance, pet insurance, business insurance, agricultural insurance and many more insurance products as well as a wide array of free-of-charge assistance services - available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
With 670 employees, Generali Slovensko offers its services through more than 130 points-of-sale across Slovakia, also enabling contact through external distribution channels, by phone and by internet. Overall written premiums according to International Financial Reporting Standards in 2010 were 195.5 million EUR. Its overall market share in premiums written in the Slovak insurance market as at 31st December 2009 was 9.5%.
