Profile:
Stanfield & Associates is a Downers Grove Accounting Firm comprised of CPAs that believes in bringing individual attention to clients. By doing so, we believe we can build partnerships with our clients that provide the personal attention they deserve. As a certified public accountant (CPA) in Downers Grove, John founded Stanfield & Associates on his belief in comprehensive financial planning. As such, he has built a trusted network of accountants, financial advisers and attorneys who are willing to work collaboratively to provide the best tax preparation, financial planning and business advisory services possible.
Our mission statement is as follows “To provide sound financial accounting and tax planning services to individuals and small businesses in the Chicago area; and to complete these services with a high level of character and professionalism in order to help clients achieve their long term financial goals”.
Simply put, at Stanfield & Associates, we believe in character-based financial planning, accounting, tax planning and preparation. As such, we have made the following commitments to our clients:

Ethics are at the forefront of everything we do. We subscribe to the AICPA and Illinois State CPA societies code of ethics, as well as our own. You can always count on honest work completed using the highest professional standards in our work.
The accounting profession is changing at a pace like no other we have seen in history. The Unites States congress has been making, and will continue to make, changes to the tax code on a regular basis. Stanfield & Associates follows these changes closely in order to provide correct and timely services to our clients. Our professionals are highly educated, and consistently meet and exceed ongoing educational requirements proscribed by the AICPA and Illinois State CPA Society.
However, we are also aware that some people are not in a position to hire our services and feel these individuals deserve the same sound advice our clients get. As such, we have dedicated to donate 1% of all revenue to Ladder Up, a charitable organization who provides tax advice and other financial planning services to families in need. Additionally, we are involved with several other organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and A Toast to Life for ALS research.
John Stanfield is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Chicago and serves as the Managing Principal of Stanfield & Associates LLC. He applies his financial and tax expertise to asset-protection and tax-minimization needs of high net worth families and individuals, real estate businesses, and not-for-profit organizations. |
