QBE Mortgage Insurance (Asia) Limited ("QBE MI Asia") has been operating a residential mortgage insurance business in the Hong Kong market since 1999. In December 2008, we became part of the QBE Insurance Group.

Our parent company, QBE Lenders’ Mortgage Insurance Limited (QBE LMI), is a successful Australian mortgage insurer with over 46 years experience in Australia and 23 years of experience in New Zealand.

QBE Insurance Group Limited (“QBE Group”) is the ultimate holding company of both QBE LMI and QBE MI Asia. QBE Group is Australia's largest general insurance and reinsurance group and is one of the top 20 companies in the global insurance and reinsurance market. Today QBE Group operates in all major insurance markets, with offices in 52 countries with over 16,000 employees worldwide.
