Tri Origin Exploration Limited is a mineral resource company actively exploring for gold and base metals in the Canadian Shield. The Company is focused on the exploration of early-stage, 100%-owned, district scale properties in well mineralized regions. With a corporate industry experience extending more than 20 years, Tri Origin has an extensive background and successful track record.

Tri Origin's objective is to increase the resource base per share through the discovery of commercially viable mineral deposits. Tri Origin believes the best place to find new ore deposits is in the vicinity of producing mines and has therefore chosen to maintain a significant presence in well-known gold-producing districts. Tri Origin will utilize innovative techniques and management's expertise to create opportunities for discovery.

Tri Origin also holds indirect interest in base and precious metal exploration and development projects in Australia through its equity ownership in TriAusMin Limited. Tri Origin is publicly traded on the TSX-Venture Exchange under the symbol TOE.

History:

Tri Origin Exploration Ltd was founded in 1989 by Dr. Robert Valliant and the late Dennis Sheehan, both of whom were formerly Vice President and Senior Vice President-Exploration respectively with LAC Minerals Ltd., a leading North American gold producer until its takeover by Barrick Gold in the early 1990’s. While at LAC Minerals, Mr. Sheehan was responsible for growing LAC into an internationally recognized mining firm and Dr. Valliant was closely involved with the discovery and development of two world-class gold districts, Bousquet/Doyon/LaRonde in Quebec and Hemlo in Ontario.

This experience was augmented by managing successful exploration programs at most of the important gold districts in Ontario and Quebec and expanding activities into the USA, Australia and South America. Tri Origin has inherited this background and its current board of directors brings a high level of additional varied and successful experience in exploration, mine development and financing to the benefit of company shareholders. The Company's technical team and supporting consultants and contractors are fully-versed in their trade and bring a wealth of experience to the Company's projects.

Since inception, the Company’s objective has been, and continues to be, to leverage off management's successful track record and broad experience base to increase shareholder value through the discovery of profitably mineable ore deposits.

Tri Origin's capital is directed toward the search for gold and base metals by examination of carefully selected properties in promising geological environments. The Company maintains a focused approach and currently has a stable of drill-ready targets within its portfolio of gold properties in the Canadian Shield.

In addition, early work initiated by the Company in Australia was successful and led to the discovery and delineation of gold and base metal deposits. A subsidiary formed by Tri Origin to develop these discoveries - TriAusMin Limited - is now separately listed on the ASX and TSX and is advancing toward metal producer status. Tri Origin maintains a valuable equity investment in its affiliate which will also enhance shareholder value as it grows into producer status.

Tri Origin’s exploration strategy involves combining geological expertise with the use of innovative and up-to-date geophysical and geochemical targeting techniques to search for buried ore deposits in covered terrain. This strategy is based on the premise that tomorrow’s mineral discoveries will come at increasingly greater depths than did previous discoveries. It is the Company's intention to employ its strategy toward the creation of wealth for shareholders.
