HFG was established in 2002 and has since grown organically to become a leading recruitment business in our sector – Insurance. We are passionate about the Insurance industry and the role we play, recognising and embracing the unique aspects of each segment; Life Insurance, General Insurance, Re-Insurance, Broking and the Lloyd’s market.

Built on a solid base of high staff retention, a cohesive culture and a first class training programme the company now employs a strong mix of trained recruiters and ex-industry professionals. Working within the UK, Bermuda and Asia Pacific our client relationships and interaction are driven by our industry expertise and knowledge. Combined with an honest and direct communication style we are able to share information and provide value to our customers through our consultative approach. We position ourselves to be highly visible within the industry and are considered to be a ‘thought leader’ on recruitment and staffing issues.

History:

In 2011 HFG launched its Asia division which has gone from strength to strength since inception. With an initial focus on Actuarial and Risk recruitment, HFG Asia has a vision of expanding its offering to match the UK business model. The HFG Singapore office was launched in September 2013, followed by the Hong Kong office in December 2014.

The team possess a strong mix of ex-industry professionals and experienced recruiters as well as native Mandarin and Cantonese language speakers, which are a vital component of our success in this region. The demand for local and international talent across our clients is unprecedented as they seek to diversify their business models and take advantage of emerging markets.

The link with the HFG UK team is crucial in identifying talented and mobile insurance professionals who would consider relocating or returning to the Asia-Pac region. Successful assignments have been completed in Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea and Indonesia.
