The Private Trust Corporation Limited (“PTC”), is a licensed Bahamian trust company, securities broker-dealer and investment fund administrator which specializes in the provision of a highly personalized, professional and comprehensive range of international financial services to corporate and private clients throughout the world.
History

PTC was founded in 1983 by a small group of professionals led by founding partner Peter B. Evans who recognized the need for a client orientated private trust company not owned by, or affiliated with, any major bank or financial institution.
The Bahamas was selected as the location for PTC because of its’ political stability, absence of taxes, secrecy laws and excellent professional, banking and communication facilities.

Licensing

PTC holds an unrestricted Trust license issued by The Ministry of Finance of the Government of The Bahamas and Investment Fund Administrators and Securities Broker-Dealer licenses issued by the Securities Commission of The Bahamas.
Regulation

PTC is regulated by The Central Bank of The Bahamas in respect of its’ trust activities and by the Securities Commission of The Bahamas in respect of its’ securities and investment fund administration activities.
Compliance

In addition to compliance with Bahamian laws, PTC seeks to comply with international standards of ‘best practice’ and maintains internal audit and compliance departments.
Ownership and Management

PTC is privately owned and is managed and controlled by the Directors, all of whom are resident in The Bahamas.
Offices

PTC has no branches, offices or subsidiaries in any other jurisdiction.
