• Merger and Acquisition (M&A) consulting - due diligence, tax structure, valuation models, acquisition financing, etc.
• Tax Consulting - state and local income tax planning and minimization strategies, consolidated income tax return issues, planning related to utilization of net operating losses (NOL's), maximizing depreciation benefits, and alternative minimum tax planning.
• Business Valuations - valuations for mergers and acquisitions, estate planning, buy/sell agreements, litigation support and other matters.
• Estate and succession planning for corporate executives - Extensive experience working with clients to minimize transfer taxes and plan for the orderly transition of the business to successors; closely involved with clients and their legal advisors in virtually all areas of the estate planning process.
• Litigation Support - experience providing valuable insights and credible testimony in litigation, alternative dispute resolution and investigations.
• Non-Profit/Governmental - extensive level of experience providing assurance, tax and consulting services to more than sixty of the most recognizable non-profit organizations in the Tampa Bay area; significant experience serving various governmental entities throughout west central Florida. |

Overview:
Since its inception in 1991, KRMT has been providing exceptional assurance, tax and advisory services to its clients. Our growth and success during these years is affirmation that opportunities exist for local CPA firms who are committed to staying abreast of the latest financial developments and who seek to foster long-term relationships with their clients. Over the years, our practice has been divided evenly, in terms of both personnel and revenue, between the assurance and tax disciplines. Recently, however, these core services have been complemented through the addition of resources that now allows us to provide services to our clients in the areas of litigation support, forensic accounting, business valuation and the not-for-profit/governmental arenas.
KRMT team members currently serve clients throughout the United States from our centrally located office in the Carillon/Feather Sound area of Tampa Bay. The most recent edition of the “Book of Lists” compiled by the Tampa Bay Business Journal includes KRMT as the largest CPA firm based in Tampa, St. Petersburg or Clearwater.
