MaplesFS, through its operating divisions Maples Fund Services and Maples Fiduciary Services, is an independent global provider of specialised fiduciary, accounting and administration services.

With offices in key locations around the world, our clients include global financial institutions and investment management firms.

We have close ties to the international law firm of Maples and Calder and work closely with other leading international and domestic law firms. Combined with a wide range of expertise in accounting, company management, corporate, fiduciary, trust and fund administration, MaplesFS is able to offer professional and comprehensive services that are tailored to client requirements.

History:

The MaplesFS group of companies is wholly owned by the law partnership of Maples and Calder.

Previously referred to as Maples Finance, MaplesFS commenced operations in 1997 in the Cayman Islands with its origins tied to the provision of fiduciary and accounting services to special purpose vehicles used in structured finance transactions.

On the back of significant growth in its structured finance business, in 2003 MaplesFS established its investment funds division. Initially focusing on the provision of fiduciary services to investment funds, in 2005 MaplesFS expanded the investment funds division further to provide a complete range of fund administration services to various forms of investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds and fund of funds. As of today, MaplesFS provides all services through its two operating divisions, being Maples Fund Services and Maples Fiduciary Services.

To date, all growth experienced by MaplesFS has been organic. To expand the jurisdictional footprint and product offering of MaplesFS, from 2003 to date, in addition to the office in the Cayman Islands, strategic offices were established in Dubai, Dublin, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Montreal and New York. MaplesFS currently also has business development resources working full time from London.

MaplesFS continues to expand its service capability, leveraging its jurisdictional knowledge and depth of experience of its professional staff.
