Overview:

Since its formation in 1999, Southpoint and its management team have invested over $100 million in various sponsored investment partnerships. Southpoint approaches investment opportunities from a principal’s perspective. As such, the management team of Southpoint contributes substantial proprietary capital to all sponsored investments. Proprietary investment generally ranges from a minimum of 10% to greater than 25% of total capital raised for a transaction. The balance of funds come from Southpoint’s network of institutional and high-net-worth investors. Southpoint carefully screens all of its investors as to their risk profile and financial suitability. All investors are “Accredited Investors” and “Qualified Clients” as those terms are defined in the Federal Securities Laws.

Southpoint is more than just a source of capital. Its management team brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table, as well as an established network of industry contacts. The management team of Southpoint has over 100 years of collective experience in the areas of real estate & corporate finance and investment management & trading. Prior to Southpoint’s formation, the management team worked at senior levels for some of the World’s largest financial and legal institutions, including Morgan Stanley & Co, Banc National De Paris, and O’Melveny & Myers. Collectively throughout their careers, the management team of Southpoint has raised more than $10 billion in equity and debt capital.
