Purpose

We accelerate startups with mentoring and finance. We run unique, high-value accelerator programs that we believe provide great value to entrepreneurs, serving and supporting them with breakthrough mentoring, world-class demo days, and distribution and sales assistance.

Approach

As founders and repeat entrepreneurs ourselves, we know what it takes to go all the way. We provide guidance and services from a range of advisors, giving founders a leap forward in HR, finance, accountability, messaging and market insight.

Value Add

Through our “best practice”accelerator programs, our founders and startups gain immediate access to funding, market knowledge, peer mentoring, networks and business expertise. We have 15 full-time support staff and 150 mentors around the world available to advise in the areas of: executive coaching, design, sourcing, distribution, finance and sales & marketing.

Giving Back

The team at SOSventures dedicates approximately 20% of our own time promoting and championing big ideas for positive global change, from organisations and movements that focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) education to environmental causes such as global warming. Sean O’Sullivan, managing director of SOSventures, has been a primary funder of organizations such as the Khan Academy and the Rensselaer Center for Open Source. SOSventures staff are active founders or leaders of humanitarian organizations like CoderDojo., JumpStart International, Open Ireland, WeForest.org. and Mathletes.ie
