The Equitium Group was founded in 2006 by former consultants of McKinsey&Company. The firm has two lines of business: Active Ownership Investing and Management Consulting. Combining consulting and investing activities in house allows us to shift our capacity, including our world-class turnaround capabilities, to match the needs of our investors, portfolio companies, and clients.

Active Ownership Investing

Equitium acquires small- to medium-size underperforming companies and drives significant performance improvements through its “Active Ownership” approach. In contrast to traditional private equity firms, Equitium provides truly hands-on strategic and operational support to strengthen and improve the companies in which it invests. The firm’s in-house team of world-class consultants works on the ground over extended periods of time, actively driving profitable growth in its portfolio companies. Additionally, Equitium specializes in the consumer industry, particularly the luxury sector.

Management Consulting

The Equitium Group provides a complete portfolio of management consulting services to help companies and organizations with strategy, marketing, innovation, organizational design, and operations. Equitium offers a level of rigor and quality in its analyses and recommendations comparable to that of the premier global consulting firms. As a service line within the Management Consulting practice, Equitium offers customized market due diligence reports for investment funds seeking to quickly understand a potential target’s business and industry.
