Charles E. Harris & Associates was founded in 1986 with the commitment to provide exceptional auditing, accounting and consulting services to our clients. At Charles E. Harris & Associates, our motivation is to give you the best services for your tax dollar while making your audit as pain-free as possible. We are confident that our firm stands out above the rest because our staff is:
Able to recommend solutions and assist with new policies and procedures. All staff members, especially management are readily available for consultation on all questions from our clients.
Personally trained by our office, so, that, every member of our staff is highly qualified and extremely knowledgeable in all areas of government accounting and compliance related issues. We also attend regular training and seminars by the AOS, AGA and other organizations to ensure our knowledge is kept up to date.
Equipped with the latest technology and software applications, including Practitioner’s Publishing Company’s “Engagement Manager”and “Smart E-Practice Aids”, electronic paperless auditing software which allows our work to be done more efficiently and eco-friendly. We also utilize various audit workbench software programs (i.e., USAS and UAN systems, government software, etc.).
Personable! We are committed to ensuring that our clients are comfortable throughout their auditing process. We do not want our clients to feel as if they are just another “number”; we welcome questions and strive to educate them from start to completion. We believe communication is the key to our service and strive to keep our clients informed of the progress from start to finish.
Charles E. Harris & Associates is a government and non-profit only firm specializing in, federal, state and local governments and non-profit organizations, including but not limited to counties, cities, villages, townships, schools, libraries and boards of health. Currently we employ 25 employees between our offices in Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio. Along with a degree in accounting, our employees have complied with the governmental qualification standards and participate in the governmental continuing education requirements. Not only is our firm experienced in conducting audits, but we have participated in many seminars and numerous speaking engagements around the country.
