Durbin Bennett Tax Advisors, Inc. is not a CPA Firm. Our affiliate firm, Durbin Bennett Certified Public Accountants is a CPA firm registered with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.

Durbin Bennett Tax Advisors, Inc. (DBTA) is a multidisciplinary professional tax and financial consulting firm. We are an employee owned company with an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The Texas State Board of Public Accountancy (TSBPA) requires all registered CPA firms to be owned solely by individuals. According to the TSBPA rules and regulations, an ESOP trust is not a permitted owner and thus, DBTA is not a CPA firm.

CPA Attestation services are provided through Durbin Bennett Certified Public Accountants, a licensed independent CPA firm registered with the TSBPA.

Our Philosophy

The Firm has a multidisciplinary practice focusing on the tax and financial needs of clients that have existing wealth or the potential to create it. We serve clients that want their financial matters addressed in a coordinated and integrated manner. Durbin Bennett’s tax practice focuses on high net-worth individuals, pass-through entities, real estate, trust/estate and gift taxation, private foundations, and foreign trust taxation.

Durbin Bennett seeks to integrate income tax, and estate and financial planning for its clients. Our professionals have licenses/designations and experience in each of these core competencies. Our work involves coordinating the multiple disciplines necessary to comprehensively address our clients’ needs.
