Overview:

The firm was founded in 1974 by Dr. Rolf Grützmacher. From the beginning the philosophy of GGV was to render multi-disciplinary high-level consulting services with a high degree of partner involvement. GGV is now a full service commercial firm of lawyers, public auditors, certified public accountants and notaries in the legal form of a German professional partnership.

With 20 partners and 100 employees we operate from three offices in Germany (Frankfurt, main office, and Hamburg) and France (Paris). Six of our professionals are public auditors (German Wirtschaftsprüfer/Buchpruefer) and certified public accountants (German Steuerberater); another eight professionals are certified public accountants (Steuerberater). We are a full service commercial firm working with multidisciplinary and well-established teams in all our offices. We are serving clients in various industries and of different sizes.

Among our clients are internationally acting groups as well as German subsidiaries of foreign companies, start-up companies as well as long-established German engineering companies, individuals and families as well as non profit organizations. Our clients are in different industries and sectors: wholesale and trade, IT-consulting and software, real estate, investment banking and brokerage, marketing, and engineering.
In addition to the listed practice areas, we have particular experience in comprehensive advice in commercial and tax law for French companies in Germany as well as for German companies in France.
