We help small and medium-sized businesses from a diverse range of sectors – and of various sizes and legal forms – to fulfil the heightened requirements for internal and external accounting and reporting that are imposed on them by the capital market and their owners.

Along with the heightened information requirements, they have to master the complexity of commercial, tax and corporate law. To the same extent, this defines the challenge in terms of the job specifications for auditors, tax consultants and legal consultants.

Service portfolios are today expected to do much more than merely fulfil statutory obligations – they must meet the requirements and demands of small and medium-sized businesses. At the same time, expertise and quality are just as naturally a given as flexibility and cost efficiency. We owe our excellent reputation to our staff of over 270 qualified employees: along with auditors, chartered accountants, tax consultants, lawyers and management consultants (80 professionals), Dornbach employs highly qualified, self-employed individuals who have particular expertise and creative flair

History:

The business's history stretches back over 50 years, to the single-partner auditing practice set up by the firm's founder and namesake Dr Elke Dornbach Sr in Koblenz in 1954. The addition of further partners led to the firm's creation in 1970.

The outsourcing of the areas of legal and management consultancy, as well as geographical expansion into the new federal states, into the business centres of the Rhine-Main area (Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, Mainz, Darmstadt...) and to Munich, has created the present Dornbach structure, with its 30 partners and over 270 employees at 16 locations.

According to the 2009 Lünendonk® Study, we can count ourselves among the 20 leading accountancy firms and the top ten owner-managed professional enterprises in Germany.
