Overview:

RSM Finland Ltd provides its customers with high-quality and reliable audit and related services in specific situations. The operations are built on understanding the customers’ needs. In addition, the services provided are of high quality and tailor-made. We represent a strong, long-term experience in demanding forensic investigation and M&A consulting projects. Therefore we are at our best when participating in demanding turnaround situations that are carried through by our customers.

We currently operate in five locations in Finland (Helsinki, Oulu, Jyväskylä, Tampere and Turku) and employ over 30 finance professionals. The company’s turnover for 2014 stood at around 3.2 million euro (2013: 2,8 million euro). We offer e.g. statutory audit and financial administration services, special audits and other services to bankruptcy estates and companies in restructuring, due diligence audits of finances and taxation for corporate restructuring, and business reviews (IBR and LIBR) of companies with a poor financial standing for credit institutions.

RSM Finland Ltd is a partner-lead consultation company aiming at a leading position in the expertise fields that we represent. The long-term goal is controlled growth whether organically or through mergers and acquisitions. The current range of services cover the following: forensic investigations, due diligences, valuations, consulting related to special situations in financial administration and audit.

The subsidiary RSM Finland Accounting Ltd provides help to active companies and in special cases e.g. to bankruptcy estate administrators.

The subsidiary RSM Finland Recovery Ltd's strong team is specialised in distressed situations with experience and geographical coverage, and is involved in helping and solving customers’ financial and operational problems.

History:

RSM Finland was founded in September 2011 by Seppo Suontausta, Urpo Pirilä ja Manu Auhto. They purchased in August 2011 the forensic investigation operations and the on-going M&A consulting projects from the other authorised public accountant firm through an MBO. More than ten experienced experts moved over to RSM Finland Ltd in the MBO, approximately half of them being authorized auditors and half of them carring both a legal and an economic degree.
