Fund Management
Private Equity
Although we do not follow a rigid formula, My Decker Capital’s private equity transactions share several common elements. MDC invests its own equity dollars and those of our investors for the investments in a company. Once we make an investment, we work with company management over the long term to ensure focus — helping the company to be more productive, more competitive, and more profitable and to achieve a successful return on the investment through IPO or trade sale.
MDC work closely with the management teams of our portfolio companies and maintain close involvement in the operations of each business, providing them with substantial guidance over an average investment period of three to five years or more. MDC seeks to invest in high quality companies that have built a strong operating history, have attractive growth prospects, solid market positions and the ability to generate superior returns on the capital MDC invests.
General characteristics of MDC’s private equity investments include:
* Focus includes real estate, retail and consumer products.
* Senior managers of our portfolio companies have a strong bond to their business. MDC only invests in companies with a committed management team.
* Typically some members of the management team have international education or business experience.
* MDC works with management to determine the optimal capital structure to support a company’s business strategy.

Real Estate Fund
My Decker Capital real estate fund is a RMB based fund, intends to benefit form the China urbanizationi process and is interested in investing in real estate projects in 3rd and 4th tier cities.
