How Pavilion was built

Pavilion Financial Corporation was founded in 2006, and has since established itself as a significant player in the North American institutional advisory industry. The company has grown through:
Recruitment of seasoned consultants and researchers.
Acquisition of well-regarded investment advisory firms, bringing clients the benefits of an expanded range of services along with the advantages of scale, particularly in the areas of research and technology.
Reinvestment of cash flows into new services, research and infrastructure to support clients and their objectives.

Pavilion made its foray into the institutional investment advisory industry with the acquisition of Montreal-based Brockhouse Cooper. With origins that go back to 1968, Brockhouse Cooper was a highly-regarded firm providing investment advisory services, global securities trading and other services to many of the leading institutional investors in Canada.

The acquisition of Chicago-based Stratford Advisory Group in late 2011 provided Pavilion with an established, full-service institutional advisory business in the United States. Formed in 1982 and a recognized leader in its field, Stratford’s business complemented Brockhouse Cooper’s advisory services division.

In September 2012, the fully integrated Pavilion organization and brand was launched.
