History:
In 1990, L. Ralph Piercy, Richard H. Bowler, Revelle Taylor, and Michael Kern, the founding shareholders of Piercy Bowler Taylor & Kern (PBTK), purchased the Las Vegas office of the national CPA firm in which they were partners. Since inception, PBTK has been extensively involved in virtually every aspect of accounting and auditing, taxation, valuation, and operational consulting for entities in a wide-variety of industries, including gaming and hospitality, government and non-profit, real estate and construction, retail and wholesale, and finance and leasing, both privately-owned and publically-traded. We have always practiced at the highest level of the profession, an alternative to the larger national firms in terms of talent and resources for the industries we serve.
The Firm has grown from a humble beginning of approximately 12 professionals to what is now the largest locally-owned accounting firm in Southern Nevada, the second largest office of CPAs of any firm. We also have an office near Salt Lake City which is extensively involved in government auditing, litigation support, bankruptcy and receiverships, regulatory compliance and internal audit services for financial institutions. |
