Knox Investment Partners is an aligned and experienced private equity fund manager focused on the attractive investment opportunities offered within New Zealand and Australia.

Established in 2004, Knox comprises six seasoned investment professionals led by Bret Jackson (Founder, former BCG Consultant, successful entrepreneur) and Tim Sumner (Founder, former CSFB Private Equity, DLJ Merchant Banking). With over 40 years combined international experience, the Knox team has achieved success across an array of sectors and transaction types. With its proprietary deal flow and active management style, Knox has achieved a gross IRR of 33% across three funds, outperforming equity markets and global private equity benchmarks. Understanding the importance of alignment, the Manager is the largest investor across the Knox funds, committing $25m to the latest offering, Knox Fund IV.

Knox is currently raising NZ$100-150m for Knox Fund IV. Knox will target New Zealand and Australian lower mid-market companies in transition, adding value and facilitating profitable change through management buyout, ownership change, growth and acquisition funding.
