History:

MP Corporate Finance was founded at the beginning of the 90s and is one of the leading independent M&A advisors in the European mid-market today.
Internationalisation

When the markets in Central Europe opened at the turn of the millenium, the company made use of this to extend its activities. At the same time, the first MP Corporate Finance M&A Yearbook was published. This annual publication, focusing on distinct sub-sectors, has since the first year of publication consistently developed into an important reference work our clients.

In 2003, our international presence was strengthened when we opened an office in Frankfurt/Main (Germany). This meant that important contacts in the private equity industry and the German business scene could be established. Ever since, numerous transactions could be concluded.

Between 2005 and 2007, MP Corporate Finance continued its expansion strategy in Eastern Europe with offices in Budapest (Hungary), Bruno (Czech Republic) and Warsaw (Poland). These offices play a significant role in cross-border M&A activities in the Eastern European growth market.
Industry competence with a global effect

In 2008, the industry focus became manifested with the help of dedicated cross-regional industry teams, becoming the company’s foundation. International Groups are beginning to make use of them.
Progress requires motion

In 2011, 12 transactions were carried out. This allowed MP Corporate Finance to establish itself as one of the leading advisors in the mid-market segment in Europe. This leading position could be achieved by focusing on projects in the range of medium-sized transactions throughout Europe and the US for several international clients.

In 2012 we successfully completed 13 transactions with a transaction volume of more than EUR 465 mio. in 8 countries.
