Business Law
The lawyers in this group assist clients with acquisitions, divestitures, security issue financing, tax matters, private debt financing, financial organizations, secured transactions, trusts, factoring, and general commercial and corporate domestic and international transactions. We are involved in all the legal aspects of business start-ups and wind-ups, expansions and restructuring.
Civil Litigation
Our litigation lawyers act for both plaintiffs and defendants in general commercial litigation, negligence cases including motor vehicle accident and medical malpractice claims, bankruptcy and insolvency litigation, receiverships and collections, and in litigation on behalf of insurance companies and their insureds. Our lawyers are experienced in personal property security enforcement, surety and fidelity bond matters, insurance coverage disputes relating to first-party and third-party coverages in most property and casualty areas, subrogation, produce industry problems and employment issues
Our lawyers in this group have acted as counsel in several class actions in such areas as transportation catastrophes, medical malpractice and mass employee terminations.
Real Estate
Our real estate lawyers handle a broad spectrum of property related matters, including purchase and sale of commercial and residential properties, commercial leasing, zoning issues and other municipal work, land development, and financing transactions secured by real estate.
Family Law
The family law department at Bennett Best Burn LLP offers a full range of services in this rapidly changing and growing field of law. We deal with issues in family and matrimonial law, including division of property, spousal and child support, and custody and access on separation and divorce.
Estate Administration and Litigation
Our estates department offers essential services to our clients, including personal tax planning, estate planning, drafting of wills and trust documents, estate administration, estate litigation and general estate and planning matters. |
