Overview:
HLB Univers-Audit (Audit firm "Univers-Audit" CJSC) is one of the oldest and most famous firms in the Russian market. It was founded by employees and graduates of M. V. Lomonosov Moscow state university in 1992. One of the initiators of creating HLB Univers-Audit was the head of accounting, analysis, and audit department of the economics faculty of MSU, the honored science worker of RF, Doctor of Economics, the emeritus professor of MSU Anatoliy D. Sheremet.
The firm is a member of self-regulating organization of auditors Non-commercial Enterprise "Institute of Professional Auditors" (IPAR) and has document on passing the quality control from these organizations.
HLB Univers-Audit is a member of the international network of independent professional accounting firms and business advisers HLB International (HLBI). HLB International holds the 14th place in the list of the largest auditing and consulting firms (according to the materials of "International Accounting Bulletin", Jan 2013).
HLB Univers-Audit is accredited at the Russian society of appraisers (RSA), is a member of the professional self-regulatory public organization of appraisers Non-commercial Enterprise "Partnership of the Russian society of appraisers" (Non-commercial Enterprise "Partnership of RSA").
HLB Univers-Audit is included in HLB VneshPaccUnivers Group, operating on the basis of the Cooperation agreement with HLB Vneshaudit and HLB PACC-Audit companies. The group takes part in ratings of auditing and consulting groups of the Expert RA Group Rating Agency, in the rating of "Commersant" Publishing house, the large joint projects are performed.

HLB Univers-Audit was included in the ratings of audit firms and groups published by analytical and rating agency UNIPRAVEX for 2007-2012. HLB Univers-Audit was assigned the highest rating, А+++1+++1+++ [%]. HLB Univers-Audit was also assigned highest rating А+++1+++1+++ [%] in the ratings of appraiser firms and groups by UNIPRAVEX for 2007-2008.
Employees of the firm are auditors, tax and financial advisers, appraisers – they are highly skilled specialists, many of which are graduates of M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, other leading economic higher education institutions of Russia and possess the large experience of practical work.
The system of standards of HLB Univers-Audit was developed in 1998, is based on the Federal rules (standards) of auditing activity. While developing the standards our specialists also aim at the International auditing standards (IAS) and the recommendations of auditing associations. The system of standards of HLB Univers-Audit is constantly being developed and improved, internal seminars on practice of applying standards are conducted on a regular basis. The firm has the auditing services quality Certificate of Non-commercial Enterprise "Institute of Professional Auditors" by results of checking the quality of audit.
HLB Univers-Audit renders the clients a wide spectrum of services. The leading place is occupied by auditing, the portion of which amounts to about a half of earnings of the firm in recent years. The general auditing and auditing the credit organizations prevail in the earnings. Services on auditing the reporting of enterprises and banks prepared according to IFRS, as well as on transformation of the reporting to IFRS are rendered.
The works on consulting support of accounting and tax accounting, estimating the tax risks (estimating the possible consequences of the tax inspection of the enterprise) are performed. The services in the field of management accounting are rendered both by HLB Univers-Audit firm (organizing expenses accounting, organizing budgeting) and by the affiliate companies. The main services in the field of corporate finance are Due Diligence (the complex diagnostics of business as an object of sale), reorganization of an enterprise or holding.
