History:

Summit Capital (Pvt.) Limited incorporated in 2006 with the paid-up Capital of PKR 300mn to accommodate the merger of Atlas Investment Bank Limited with Atlas Bank Limited. The Company at the time of inception acquired certain service led operations which have been functioning as a part of Atlas Investment Bank Limited as it's wholly owned subsidiary. Subsequent to the merger of Atlas Bank Limited and Atlas Investment Bank Limited, this company became a wholly owned subsidiary of Atlas Bank Limited.

On January 01, 2011, Atlas Bank Ltd officially merged with Summit Bank Ltd. (Formerly Arif Habib Bank Ltd.) and formed a new entity which is operating under the brand name of Summit Bank. Summit Bank is one of the fastest growing Commercial Banks in the country enjoying strong backing of Suroor Group Investments. The Bank has a network of 80 Branches/Sub Branches. The branch network covers Sindh, Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

Subsequent to the merger of the Atlas Bank Limited, Summit Bank Limited, name of Altas Capital Markets (Pvt.) Ltd was changed on Feb 15, 2011 to Summit Capital (Pvt.) Limited. Summit Capital inherited the complete staff, active in the various areas of Equity Brokerage supplemented by a full scale research department, Money Market brokerage and Financial Product Distribution Unit. The company is a member of all three stock exchanges in Pakistan and also a member of National Commodity Exchange. The equity brokerage division, with over fifteen years of services to its clients has presence in three major cities i.e. Karachi, Lahore and Faisalabad.

The company has the privilege of providing brokerage services to state enterprises, mutual funds, commercial banks, NBFCs and a large number of retail investors. The main focus of the company is on efficiency in service, integrity and professionalism which is a prerequisite of local & international client base. The company has been providing money market brokerage services since 2004 when it has got registered with the FMA and in this short span of time the company has built up an ability to cater to all clients' needs may it be placements or borrowings at the most competitive rates.
