Overview: 

The Spanish Association of Consulting Firms (AEC or Asociacion Espanola de Empresas de Consultoria) is the umbrella organization for the largest ICT and management consulting firms in Spain, and is the point of reference of the consultancy sector in this country.
Some of its objectives are:
♦ Ensuring the representation, promotion and defense of their collective interests.
♦ Strengthening and developing the reputation and image of the consultancy sector, promoting and protecting its members' interests and launching new
professional standards regarding ethics and quality of the service.
♦ Studying, promoting and performing anything that could be useful for the consultancy professionals materially and morally as well as to the Spanish
economy and society.
♦ Interacting with the corresponding Professional Associations and Institutions.
♦ Promoting itself as a discussion forum to deal with consultancy matters.
♦ Furthermore, AEC is a member of the European Federation of Consultancy Associations (EFCA).
