History:

300 North Capital, LLC evolved from a predecessor firm founded in 1951. In February 1995, 300 North Capital (then named Provident Investment Counsel) became a wholly owned subsidiary of United Asset Management Corporation, which was acquired by Old Mutual in September 2000. As a result of this acquisition, 300 North Capital became an affiliate of Old Mutual (US) Holdings, Inc.

In September 2008, the firm underwent a reorganization whereby we refined our focus to ensure we were providing the marketplace with high-quality, limited capacity, high-demand products. The reorganization included the discontinuation of our large cap growth strategy and refinement of our investment team. We now utilize a centralized research team which focuses on all strategies.

Effective January 1, 2013, 300 North Capital, LLC acquired all equity from Old Mutual and is now 100% employee owned.
