The Anglo Chinese group is a corporate finance driven investment banking group based in Hong Kong. It was established in 1988 by its founding directors, Stephen Clark and Christopher Howe, and specialises in advising, promoting and/or investing, for its own account and as an investment manager, in companies based in, or connected with, the Far East. The Anglo Chinese group is particularly active in capital raising, corporate rescue, restructuring and mergers and acquisitions in Hong Kong and China.
We act for companies as financial advisers and financiers, and have offices in Hong Kong, London, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Vancouver. We are financial advisers to more than 100 companies quoted on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and to a number of leading international companies with interests in the Far East.
The Anglo Chinese Investment Company, Limited, the holding company for the group, is controlled by Stephen Clark and Christopher Howe. Other shareholders comprise leading companies and investors in Hong Kong and overseas. It is the holding company for the group and was founded in 1988 with an initial capital of US$0.3 million, since then the company has declared more than US$22.1m in dividends and now has capital and reserves of approximately US$28 million.
Anglo Chinese Corporate Finance, Limited is registered with the Securities and Futures Commission ("SFC") as investment advisers and dealers in securities in Hong Kong and Anglo & International Corporate Finance, Limited is registered to give corporate finance advice with the Securities and Futures Authority in London where it is active in cross border mergers and acquisitions and the alternative investments market.
Anglo Chinese Securities, Limited is also registered with the SFC as investment advisers and dealers in securities and manages Anglo Chinese group capital and managed capital from clients specialising in Far Eastern securities and alternative investments.
The Anglo Chinese group is uniquely positioned amongst its competitors.
