   * a commitment to developing long term relationships with our private client base
   * a traditional focus on working not-for-profit organisations which has been further underpinned by the piloting of the Everybody Counts program, a charity initiative aimed at staff providing direct support to charity partners

Our focus is on providing practical advice with an awareness and understanding of our clients' financial and business needs. Essentially, we give clients the assistance and support needed to make them successful.

We are members of Australia's peak accounting bodies, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and our team maintain individual memberships of various industry associations and professional bodies.

History:

Walker Wayland NSW was formed in Sydney on February 1 1985 following the merger of Walker Meares & Co and Wayland & Wayland.

Both firms have had a strong presence in the Sydney business community for more than 50 years, with this experience represented in the continuing presence of a number of partners.

We moved to our current premises in Sydney's CBD in 1993.

Our firm has seven partners and a team of 40 people across all disciplines.
