History:

In 1998, CB Commercial acquired the holding company REI Limited (Richard Ellis International), marking the start of the international company CB Richard Ellis. The takeover of the Insignia Financial Group followed in 2003, making CB Richard Ellis the biggest real estate advice group in the world. In October 2011 the company name changed into CBRE.

CBRE started in the Netherlands in 1973. In 2006 it took over N+T and Rietmeijer Huisvestingsadviseurs. In 2011 the takeover of SCM Europe followed.

At the moment, there are more than 300 employees working on the success of the company from offices in Amsterdam, Hoofddorp, Houten, Rotterdam and The Hague.
