Profile:
Our New York-based lawyers have worked on many of the most significant business and legal developments of the past 150 years—from landmark court cases to the formation of major corporations and financial institutions to the development of innovative and important financial instruments.
Today our New York office is home to more than 75 percent of our lawyers and handles a significant portion of the work we do for our clients in the United States, as well as those around the world.
Our New York-based corporate lawyers work on the full spectrum of domestic and international transactions, often as part of an integrated team with colleagues from our other U.S. and overseas offices. Our Litigation, Tax and Trusts and Estates Departments are based predominantly in New York, though we also have litigators in Menlo Park and tax lawyers in both Menlo Park and London.
Davis Polk's Menlo Park office combines the firm's traditional strengths in transactional, advisory and litigation work with an in-depth understanding of the unique attributes of technology companies. The office serves as the focal point for the firm's global technology practice.
