Profile:
The spotlight continues to be on the international financial markets. New regulatory measures are being discussed and decided. The financing structures are also undergoing further dynamic development. For the market participants, it is therefore increasingly important to acquire quick and practice-oriented solutions for the legal issues that they are faced with.
The highly specialised team of SCWP Schindhelm has the necessary experience and know-how to reliably navigate you through any stormy waters. We advise large and medium-sized companies and international corporations, public institutions and national and international banks and funds on all issues of financial management. The range of consulting services extends from the formulation of contracts to possible proceedings and disputes, both out of court and before courts, arbitration courts and authorities.
Our goal is to offer you simple and practice-oriented solutions even in the highly complex area of banking and finance. We accompany our clients from the start to the completion of a project, often over several years, and support them from the project planning and the formulation of new and innovative financing to the negotiation and creation of the corresponding contracts.
The team accompanies IPOs, placements and the issuing of bonds of varying forms and advises on national and international loan and option transactions. We advise financial companies in the area of Asset Finance & Leasing (AFL), industrial companies in the financing of commercial goods and develop tax-optimised structures for these projects and transactions.
Another focus is consulting with regard to regulatory matters and supervisory law and the formulation of legal aspects of financing and their safeguarding - also accompanying transactions or projects. With regard to possible breaches of reporting obligations, provisions regarding misuse of the market, insider law, money laundering regulations and/or with regard to possible conflicts of interests, we highlight the risk potential and solutions and represent you before the responsible authorities.
In all phases of consulting, we regularly exchange information with specialists from our other practice groups. We thus work closely together with our colleagues from tax and corporate law in particular. With cross-border projects, we advise you, together with our experts, at 18 locations at home and abroad and also offer you tailor-made, one-stop solutions.

Through a constant exchange with legal experts in- and outside our firm we ensure that, from the beginning our client receives the best possible advice.
Our clients comprise big and small enterprises working in the private and public sectors. We advise both multinational companies as well as public corporations in either specific Austrian or European cases, or in the handling of international transactions.
SCWP works alongside enterprises and public corporations to help in the composition and implementation of their strategies. Economic globalisation has altered radically financial structures leading to ever more complex problems in the work environment.
