Our success results from a commitment to client service. We are a local firm, based in Juneau, serving clients primarily in Central and Southeast Alaska. Elgee Rehfeld Mertz, LLC now has over 1,100 clients, including federal and state agencies, local governments, small and mid-size businesses in wide-ranging industries, and individuals throughout Alaska. The firm began as a new entity in the 1980's as the merger of two other firms that have served Southeast Alaska since 1972. By playing an integral, yet independent, role in our clients' management teams, we have achieved expertise in a number of industries.
We provide quality, timely and reasonably priced primary accounting care to our clients. We also provide high quality attest services. We accomplish this with competent, well-trained staff and partners who are dedicated and motivated to provide quality work to our clients.

In 2005, Elgee Rehfeld Mertz, LLC joined the BDO Seidman Alliance.
