Overview:

Founded on 1 October 2001.
Our partners and most of our staff are nevertheless experienced specialists in their practise areas. With successful careers at one of the Big Four or well-reputed law firms.

Our partnership concept is derived from this history: We offer competence and quality comparable with the largest in the industry, connected with personal relationships, an excellent atmosphere – also responsible for long-term client relationships – as well as the individualism and the familiarity of a small office. Not exactly a completely new idea, but one that still remains very successful.

Only eight years after our inception the German JUVE-Handbook 2009/2010 has already rated our firm as a leading tax and law firm in Germany and awarded us "Firm of the year for Private Clients 2008". RICHTER is rated as No. 14 (among others) in tax law in Germany, No. 3 (among others) in consulting private clients in Germany and No. 40 (among others) in corporate law in Germany. The international LEGAL 500 survey lists us as No. 12 (among others) in tax law. RICHTER is rated as No. 8 (among others) of German tax firms including the Big Four by World Tax 2010 of the International Tax Review, the comprehensive guide to the world's leading tax firms.

As of today, at the beginning of the year 2010, our partnership with our RP RICHTER GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft already employs about 200 staff and partners in our offices in Munich, Frankfurt and Stuttgart.

We will certainly continue to grow some more. But purposefully. With personalities that go well with us, and, more importantly, with you as our clients.

Our customers’ concerns are extensive and complex. No single person can handle them alone. But a qualified team can. You know your team and your team knows you.

Every employee sees the entire order. There are no departments, but rather flat hierarchies. The consequence is that not only the partners but all employees participate in the success of the partnership, which reflects in their behavior.

We are implementation-minded. This means that we develop the right solutions for you. And we then implement them. With you. More than ideas to minimize tax. Strategic solutions. From the creative idea, all the legal documents, to enforcement of the tax audit. We assume responsibility.

We can certainly do many things, but not everything. If we do not have the necessary expertise available in a particular area, we cooperate intensively – not only within our partnership – but also within a network of outstanding colleagues in Germany and other jurisdictions.
