We combine the expertise of our two traditional institutions to build a dynamic private bank that serves our exclusive clients more professionally and closely than before, supported by the capability to offer them a comprehensive range of new products and services.

Bank Leumi Switzerland was founded in a one-bedroom apartment in Zurich to provide Jewish families with a secure alternative to housing their assets. From these humble beginnings in 1953 through to the present day, it has focused on building intimate, trusted relationships with its clients.

Edmundo Safdié founded Banque Safdié in Geneva in 1965. He shared the belief that intimacy and the personal touch should be at the heart of every client relationship. As a family-owned and managed bank, Banque Safdié has endeavored to build an experience for clients where they feel like an extended member of the family.

In creating the new Leumi Private Bank we’re excited to strengthen our ability to focus on the things we know our clients really care about.

History:

On January 3, 2012 Bank Safdié and Bank Leumi (Switzerland) have joined to become Leumi Private Bank.
