Lending sources include insurance companies, pension funds, government sponsored agency lenders (Fannie Mae/ Freddie Mac/HUD), commercial banks, credit tenant lenders (CTL) and conduit (CMBS) lenders.

In addition to mortgage banking and investment sales, the company services $1.1 billion on behalf of its insurance company lenders.

The company is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina and currently has production offices in Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina, Columbia and Greenville, South Carolina, Atlanta, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida.

History:

Capital Advisors was founded in 1994 and was acquired by the predecessor company to RBC Bank, the U.S. banking subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada, in 1999. The company operated as RBC Capital Advisors until December 2009, when the company was acquired from RBC by senior management. In December 2013, the company merged with Dickenson, Logan, Todd & Barber.
